Rainy Saturday

If you’ve slept in past noon on Saturday and all cable-skiing plans have drowned in the torrential rain, it isn’t too bad to slurp a steaming bowl of Shinsen Hokkaido Miso Ramen (even without corn, tender pork slices, shoyu egg; and even if you’re so incompetent you’ve overcooked the noodles) and scallops grilled in their shells.

And then an unhappy afternoon of tedium doing boring personal admin. At times like this, i miss my cheerful old secretary. While not advocating such a practice, i’ve been told that quite a few people have solved such problems by simply marrying tried-and-tested competent help so as to be able to enjoy the benefit of their organisational skills for life!
